Rosandra Marie Caglia-Dami Fresno, California known as Sass to her family and Sandy to her friends and business associates, passed away on February 3, 2026, surrounded by family.

She was reunited with her parents Andy and Rose Caglia, her older sister Joyce, her husband Larry Dami, and other family members whose traditions she kept alive and passed down.

Born and raised in Fresno, Sandy was a big part of the Italian community. She stayed active in the Italian Catholic Federation and the St. Elia planning committee for years. She was a fixture in Fresno real estate since 1973, managing Andy Caglia Realty as Broker of Record and putting the same heart into her work that she gave to everything else.

Sandy spent her life holding onto the traditions of faith, family, friends and good Italian food that meant so much to her. She tackled every challenge with incredible energy and a positive attitude that lifted everyone around her.

She leaves behind her brother Dave, sisters Ginger, Joanie, and Julie, and two generations of nieces and nephews who adored her as "Aunt Sass." A role that was never just a fun aunt she filled the role of a second mother, grandmother and mentor. And of course her dog Cocoa, who was her constant companion who brought her so much happiness.

In honor of Sandy's love for her country, please wear red, white, and blue to the services if you can.

Services will be held on February 25 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fresno at 9:30 AM

Instead of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the St. Elia Committee to help keep that tradition going strong, or the St. Agnes Emergency Department.

She will be missed more than words can say.
