Rosemary
Patino
Oct 31, 1923 — Sep 5, 2025
Clovis
Rosemary Majuta Patino left this earthly world and saw the face of Jesus on Friday, September 5th, 2025. Mom was born in Jerome, Arizona on October 31st, 1923 and left there as a young child with her parents, Tomas and Rosa Majuta, and her 6 siblings David, Oscar, Tommy, Ida, Edna and Jessie to come to California for work in the fields. Her younger siblings, Dolores and Helen were born after they settled in California. She married Antionio Patino on February 21st, 1943 and bravely followed him to the various Army bases within the US where he would be stationed. They were married 62 years at his passing on March 8th, 2005.
Rosemary was a devoted and loving wife to Antionio, mother to Cecilia Funk (Greg) and Judy Hippen (Larry), grandmother to Alicia Jackson (Issac), Beth Dilley (Stuart) and Shelby Funk, great grandmother to Taylor and Mia Dilley and Emma and Sophia Jackson. Rosemary is survived by her loving sisters, Delores Hernandez and Helen Riviera. She is predeceased by her beloved brothers David, Oscar and Thomas Majuta and sisters Ida Fernandez, Edna Urrutia and Jessie Morales.
Rosemary was an involved parent as Brownie, Girl Scout and Cadet Leaders, Room Mother and PTA representative. She was a very creative homemaker who loved to decorate (she grew up during the Great Depression so everything had a second life), was a great dancer (with her scarves!) as well as being a talented artist who loved oil painting, with friends and family being gifted her beautiful work. Her friends and family were blessed to have her for as long as we did.
