Rudy was born on April 25,1957 and spent his life in Fresno, California. He was
the youngest of his 12 brothers and sisters. His parents were Jose and Irene Aguilar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers: Joe, Larry, Johnny, Freddy,
and Tony Aguilar and his sisters Anita Garcia and Yolanda Aguilar. He is survived by
his brothers who he had great times together: Richard Aguilar of Lincoln, California and
Michael Aguilar of Fresno, California and sisters Adeline Ontiveros of Fresno, California
and Jenny Padilla of Santa Rosa, California, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In 1975 he met and married a year later his beloved wife Debbie Aguilar, and he
also gained another brother, Richard Contreras. Shortly after, he and Debbie had a
baby girl in 1977, Kenya Teresa Aguilar, who was the light of their lives. Rudy worked to
support his family all his life. He worked in the manufacturing field and managed many
people. Many of these individuals have shared how much they learned and grew from
Rudy's help.

As a proud father, Rudy watched his pride and joy, Kenya, grow to be a graduate
of UC Santa Barbara. She then earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Cal Western
passing the California State Bar to become a successful attorney and a partner at her
law firm.  The pride he felt for his daughter showed to everyone who knew him.

Within that time Kenya married Jon Tangonan and they gave him two special
gifts from God, Phillip Jay, his grandson and Mia Clementine, his granddaughter. The
joy these two children brought to his life was evident to everyone around him.

Rudy retired 6 years ago and enjoyed golfing with his family and friends. He
enjoyed his family and making memories for them which will last a lifetime.

Rudy will always be in our hearts; he gave us joy and his laughter was
contagious. He would make jokes and get on a roll and even if you were part of the
joke, you couldn't help but join in and laugh.  The love he had for his family and friends
was always felt. The way he worked hard with dedication, fairness and professionalism
was top shelf. His goal was to make sure that his family succeeded and was always well
taken care of…and we are so proud to say that Rudy was a great success. It is surreal
that you are not with us as right now we can't believe you are gone.  Our faith will
eventually heal us but for now, it is very difficult to move on with our hearts broken, but
we know you will watch over us and we cannot wait to see the signs you send us to
remind us you are still with us.
