Theresa Marie
Lugo
May 1, 1949 — Jun 11, 2025
Reedley
Theresa Lugo, beloved mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, and a great grandmother, peacefully passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on May 1, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois. In her early 20s, she relocated to Reedley, California, where she raised her two daughters alongside her mother, Amelia Ochoa. Raised in the Catholic faith, Theresa carried with her a quiet strength. Theresa's life was full of untold stories-a reminder that some of the most beautiful lives are those lived humbly and privately.
She worked in the cleaning services for many years, supporting her children with grace. Theresa had a deep love for travel and treasured moments spent with family. Though often reserved, she possessed a unique and thoughtful spirit that touched those lucky enough to know her. In her later years, she blossomed in the presence of her loved ones. Her presence was a quiet comfort—a testament to a woman who always tried to do the right thing. Theresa's memory lives on in the family and friends who cherish her, the strength she passed down to her children and grandchildren, and the stories she finally shared before her journey's end.
Survived by her daughter: Anna Herrera (Juan Carlos Herrera), grandson Juan Carlos Herrera Jr (Angelica Sotelo-Herrera) ARK; granddaughter
Kassandra Briana Herrera, daughter Patricia Blunt, granddaughter Joanna Blunt, grandson Michael Blunt (Emigdia Espinosa-Blunt), grandson Jacob Blunt. Great grandchildren: Elias Gabriel Herrera, Leyla Alessandra Herrera, and Maya Amelia Campos. Siblings: George Lugo Jr, Johnny Ochoa Sr, Rodolfo Ochoa, Joseph Ochoa, Mario Ochoa. Preceded in death by parents George Lugo Sr, Amelia Ochoa, siblings Alicia Rodriguez, Raul Roy Lugo, Arthur Ochoa, grandsons Jimmy Blunt and Lorenzo Estevan Herrera.
The family would like to thank the staff of Oakwood Gardens for the love & care of our mom.
