Thomas "Tom" DeSouza was born in Hanford, California February 19, 1943 to Parents Clarence "Pete" DeSouza and Elvira "Vera" DeSouza.  He grew up in Visalia California and attended Mt. Whitney High School Graduating in 1960.  After starting work he met the love of his life Ellen Elliott and they were married August 9, 1961, and remained married for 64 years.

They had their first Son Rodney in 1962, and second Son Russell in 1966 after relocating to Fresno. Tom started a new career in the Trucking Industry and became a Terminal Manager for several carriers over a period of over 40 years. In 1975 he became a devout Christian and remained so up until his death.  He was a diehard Raider fan and was able to see them win three Superbowl's. Tom was an active person and enjoyed Running, Bodybuilding, Motorcycling, and Competitive Shooting.

He leaves behind his Wife Ellen DeSouza of Fresno, oldest son Rod DeSouza and his wife Helen of Clovis, and youngest son Russ DeSouza also of Clovis. Five Grandchildren; Tyler DeSouza and his wife Jonna of Madera, Chase DeSouza and his wife Kristina of Fresno, Conner DeSouza and his wife Diana of Fresno, Nickolas and Kaitlyn DeSouza of Fresno. Four Great-Grandchildren; Lyla, Margot, Clark, and Emorie.
