Thomas Lee Hungerford, 80, a beloved father, proud graduate of CSULB, and fixture of the Fresno community, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, in Fresno, California. Born on August 11, 1945, in Los Angeles, Tom's quick wit and ever-present humor brightened the lives of all who knew him.

Tom devoted 45 years to his career as a CPA, offering financial guidance with integrity and an easygoing charm. In his professional and personal life, Tom was a natural leader: He served as Past President and long-time member of the Lions Club and honed his public speaking skills as a devoted Toastmaster. His passion for connection was also evident through the many friendships he cultivated at Fort Washington Country Club, where he spent countless joyful years perfecting his golf swing.

A true sports enthusiast, Tom was a loyal Dodger fan who, as friends often said, "bled blue" no matter the season. He was at his happiest outdoors—whether teeing off on the fairway, exploring the California coastline and mountains, or soaking up the Hawaiian sunshine, his favorite travel destination. Tom's deep appreciation for nature and love of the beach and mountains was only matched by the affection he held for his family.

Tom is survived by his loving daughters and their families, Lori & Travis Stokes and Teri & Ty Martin. Grandchildren Ethan Stokes, Alyson & Caleb Andrus, Morgan Stokes, Mason Stokes, and Tavery Martin and Trevan Martin; all of whom will carry on his legacy of warmth, humor, and generosity. His presence, encouragement, and laughter will be deeply missed but forever cherished.

A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Farewell Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Friends, family, and all who shared in Tom's journey are warmly invited to honor his remarkable life.
