Thomas Leroy Walls Jr, born September 22nd, 1943 at age 82, died Thursday July 23rd, 2026, at his home in Fresno.He leaves his wife of 35 years, Charlotte Posey, his brother Richard Walls and Richard's wife Jazmin Walls of Chowchilla California, 3 children, 3 stepchildren, and beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.Born in Selma, he was the son of Thomas and Dorothy Walls. 

He lived in Reedley, Japan, Caldwell Idaho, multiple locations while serving in the US Army and Fresno California. Tom graduated from Caldwell High School in Idaho in 1961. 

Tom graduated college from the University of Idaho in Moscow Idaho in 1966 as a second lieutenant in the US Army. He served in the Army from August 6th, 1966, to October 29th, 1977. He served in Alabama, Vietnam, Germany and Michigan. After leaving the Army he moved back to Caldwell Idaho and went back to college graduating from Boise State University in Laboratory Sciences and had a long career in the field until he retired around 2010. 

He enjoyed boating on the Great Lakes with family while in Michigan and going on many camping trips while in Idaho. He loved driving backroads and exploring. In Fresno, he enjoyed working in his backyard on his hydroponics. One of the highlights of his life was being able to own an ultralight and indulge his love of flying.Tom was a very hard worker, loved his family immensely, and had an easy smile. He will be missed by those he leaves behind.
