Virginia Gloria Zingarelli, a beloved soul who graced this world with her presence and kindness for over 100 years, entered the gates of heaven on October 23, 2023, in Fresno, CA. Virginia was born on September 6, 1923, in Madera County (Coarsegold) and relocated to Fresno when she was a young girl. Virginia attended local schools and graduated from Fresno Tech. Virginia and her sister Marian often attended dances at the Rainbow Ballroom. Little did she know that she would meet the love her life, Mauro in that ballroom and live happily married for 56 years. Mauro and Virginia owned and operated F&M Farms, growers and shippers of figs and table grapes throughout California, United States and Europe.
Virginia was a treasured mother, beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Virginia was known for her love and support of family and will be missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for sharing her beautifully cooked Italian meals, her hospitality, her impeccable dress, and that special twinkle in her eyes.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Love, and her grandchildren, Kevin Love and Kristen Williams (Patrell Williams). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Ryan Love, Brayden Love, Darien Williams, and Mara Williams. Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mauro Zingarelli, her son Richard Zingarelli, her sister Marian Murphy, and her son-in-law, Craig Love.
A ceremony to celebrate Virginia's life will be held on November 9, 2023 @ 10:00am, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church located at 2838 N. West Ave, Fresno, CA. Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park. Please join us in remembering and honoring her life. She will be deeply missed.
