Willard (Dave) Ayers II passed in late October 2025. Born in Fresno in 1952, he grew up in the community of Bass Lake and attended Sierra High School. Married briefly in the 1970's, he lived in the Shaver Lake area for a while before moving to the Bay Area to pursue an education in information technology and computer networking. He was the owner of several small computer businesses before eventually becoming an educator at Fresno City College. Dave is survived by sisters Wendy and Gayle, and son Scott. His sisters Judy Gallardo and Carolyn Adams preceded him in death.
