Yolanda Puente was born to Frank Lopez Sr. and Angie Lopez on October 19,1955 in Fresno, California, both of whom she now joins and will find comfort with in the afterlife. She passed on July 14, 2024 at the age of 68 surrounded by loved ones after a longtime affliction with breast cancer. She spent her life as a treasured part and matriarch of her family, with her husband Carlos Puente at her side.

Known to everyone as Yolie, in her early life she graduated from Roosevelt High School and went on to a fulfilling career with the IRS from which she retired. She enjoyed her retirement by attending sporting events as a supportive grandmother, traveling to see all of the California missions, and she was extremely talented in craft making -- a talent which she often shared with loved ones in the form of signature wreaths for friends and family.

Yolie will be remembered as a thoughtful, caring, and generous individual loved by everyone who came across her path. Her spirit radiated beauty inside and out and her laugh was contagious for all that were lucky enough to have known her.

Her family was always her top priority in life and she will be missed by all, forevermore. She is survived by her husband, Carlos Puente, 3 daughters (Stephanie Castaneda, Angie Bustos, and Rae Bustos), her 7 grandchildren (Kayla Castaneda, Ismael Castaneda III, Steven Castaneda, Jalen Malone, Mya-Jade Taylor, Jonah Bustos and Joaquin Castaneda) and 6 great grandchildren (Rylie Castaneda, Lorenzo Castaneda, Cruz Castaneda Galindo, Honey Castaneda, Gianna Castaneda, and the soon-to-be-born Rio Castaneda Galindo). She leaves behind many more, in love, as she was a dedicated sister, tia, nina, cousin, friend, and more.
